Thank you for choosing to learn singing with me! I’m excited to be part of your musical journey. To ensure we have a great working relationship, I’ve outlined my studio policies below. Please take a moment to read through them before booking your lesson. By making a booking, you agree to the following terms.
Lesson structure & COMMITMENT
I don’t believe in tying students to long-term contracts—I want you to feel comfortable and confident in your learning experience. That’s why I encourage all new students to book just one lesson to start with, giving you the chance to see if we’re the right fit.
However, for students who wish to continue, I ask that lessons be booked in regular blocks—either once a week or once every two weeks, for at least one month. This structure ensures:
- Steady progress
- A dedicated lesson slot reserved just for you
- A consistent learning experience without long gaps between sessions
I want to provide all my students with the best possible learning environment, and regular lessons help create momentum and results. If you have any questions or specific scheduling needs, I’m happy to discuss options!
Lesson Fees & Payment
- Lesson fees are £25 per half-hour session and can be paid via bank transfer or cash.
- If paying by bank transfer, please ensure the payment is received at least 24 hours before your lesson.
- Lessons that have not been paid for may be refused, and repeated late payments could result in lessons being discontinued.
Lesson cancellations & rescheduling
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson will be charged in full, with no option to reschedule.
- Cancellations or reschedules made with at least 24 hours’ noticewill not be charged.
- You may reschedule each lesson up to two times within a six-month period—after that, the lesson is forfeited.
- If I need to reschedule, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative time slots.
Gift vouchers
- Gift vouchers must be paid in full upfront and are non-refundable.
- Partial refunds for unused lessons on a gift voucher are not available.
- All lessons purchased through a voucher must be used within 12 months of purchase.
Student’s RESPONSIBILITIES
To get the most out of your lessons, I kindly ask that students:
- Arrive on time—lessons cannot be extended to make up for lateness.
- Incorporate regular practice into their weekly schedule.
Attendance & Lesson Expiry
- If you miss your lesson slot entirely, it will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
- All lessons (including block bookings) expire within six months of the initial payment.
Ending lessons
If you decide to stop lessons, I kindly ask for at least two weeks’notice.
Health & Wellbeing
As a singer, maintaining good vocal health is essential for both me and my students. For this reason:
- If you are contagiously ill, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule.
- I reserve the right to refuse lessons to students who arrive unwell to protect myself and others.
